ICT Meeting at Millfield

Today I had a meeting arranged at Millfield with the Deputy Head to discuss ICT provision and strategy. I’d arrange to meet Steve after School had finished for the day. After a short wait in reception he led me off to speak to Aaron (Mr Jordan Hannah’s current form teacher and previously Nat’s) who was taking on more responsibility for this area. Steve wasn’t able to say with us as he had a meeting clash. Aaron and I spent a bout an hour discussing what resources the school was using and how it was using them. Aaron seems to be very much on top of things and announced that the brand new up to date and much updated school website would be going live on 19th November. I had planned to look at this on the day but as you’ll find out this was to be the day of the N8 disaster and I’ve yet to look at it.

At the end of our meeting Aaron promised to send me a summary report that I’ll use to produce a report for the next Governors meeting.

Not much else to report, Nat went to Scouts and Hannah to ballet in the evening leaving me with a little time to myself.

Arranging to See the Deputy Head

Today was yet another day of Twittering, weather awful and no cash to do anything anyway! About the only thing I got done today was contacting and arranging to meet the Deputy Head at Millfield School to discuss the School's ICT policy. I'm meeting with him after school next Wednesday.

It’s a blog done by Nat INIT - Nat's notes, fell down stairs, RE, Hannah's Summer Concert, Henri, BB11, Tea, Posh

Monday 5/7/10
Today started on a low point but also a happy accident because when I was going down stairs I tripped and fell all the way to the bottom and twisted my ankle. You may be wondering what the happy accident is was, well I’ll tell you. I did not have to cycle to school instead my mom Mum took me and I got caught the bus home. but  Anyway, At school, we had our last  today was the last (yes Last) RE lesson of Year 7 so that's one year down only 2 two more to go... Hooray!!! And then After those that two years RE will be out of my life permanently...Yippee!!! When I got home I went, with Mum and Dad, to the Millfield School's Summer Concert to see in which Hannah who was obviously the best there! In fact she was almost as good as me which is a very hard thing to be saying something! Unfortunately, Whilst there I had to put up with Henri, the most annoying person ever, was there but the concert itself  it self more then made up for that one small inconvenience. During the interval whilst there I also had a cup of tea and, Darling, I drank it in such a refined way; with my pinkie held out and talking speaking like Ben the Posh (BB11) Quitter. Oh dear only 193 words must get to 200 - oh wait I am.

World Book Day - Hannah

It is world book day and we can dress up as a literary character . I am going as Carmen.

After School Report:

When we went to the studio to buy books I had no money, but, Hollie had £2.00 leftover which shegave me.

So I bought 2 books, one on ancient Rome and the other was a double story book that I bought for Nat.

Miss Gordon, the P.G.C.E. trainee teacher thought my costume was lovely, she also told Mummy and Daddy, later on, about how good I was in class.

Millfield Sports Day

Here are the photos I took of Han's sports day. As you can see she's very into sports and competing making her, at the time, unique in this household. Great Sports day, as usual, Millfield puts such a lot of effort into making sure it goes right.
