I really want to thank you for the kindness you have shown me while I have been off these past few months. It has obviously been a weird and difficult time on many levels but it is nice to have so much support from you and the team.

As you hopefully saw today my recovery is going well and I'm confident everything has gone to plan as far as my treatment is concerned. The doctors and consultants are also very pleased, which is always good :)

I wonder if you wouldn't mind passing my kind regards on to all the people who have written such lovely words in the cards. And the amazing gifts are fantastic!!! I can't wait to give the pressure washer a blast, going to have the cleanest car in the street, and then take it somewhere nice in the country and have a posh picnic with my two favourite ladies :)

I've missed everyone and it's always uplifting to see so many friendly faces. I'll get to see those on the night shift, and all the others who I didn't get to see today soon enough when I pop in, or I'm back at work. Please pass on my regards if you can it would mean a lot to me.

Max is jealous now there is another dog in the house, especially as it is 'tweed' and cool, rather than mental and smelly ha ha :)
