Profound, Inane and Profane

Welcome to my muses profound, inane and oft-times profane.

This is an attempt by a 50 something almost middle-class white male to put his thoughts down on paper (electronic paper anyway) for the first time in his life.

Like many others I was put off writing as a child and always thought that it was something I couldn't do - and perhaps I can't.

What I do know is that I regret not having a record of my life that I can use as an aide memoir and what |I deeply regret is that I don't have a record of the kids early years.

You think you'll remember it all but it quickly becomes difficult to place events in their proper context, so
